This will certainly improve your subs bass response, since opposing waves will now cancel each other out when they aren't being isolated. Wood glue and some screws or a nail gun is all it takes to hold this stuff together, so if you are looking to build a basic enclosure, this is the best material for it. Plug in the RCA cables, making sure the correct color plugs are connected to the amplifier (red to red, black to black)6.

Some vehicles will require additional steps, but this will at least give you a good starting point. You should tape or wire-tie the remote turn-on wire to the audio cable so that it is easier to run through the vehicle.
