speakers and subwoofers reviews
If you want to accurately determine the resonance frequency of the system, set the multimeter to current measurement, and then hook it up in series with the subwoofer to your amplifier, then you can use the frequency generator to drive the subwoofer for you. Now you will have to put the drivers in the holes and mark the location of each screw hole with a pencil so that you can easily find them. Boost: Some amplifiers include a boost button that increases the output at a certain frequency. Fiberglass has also been around in the subwoofer world for a long time, and it's used to build everything from boats to Cars, and all the way down to the seats on the rides at Magic Mountain.

The sealed box is nothing more than an airtight enclosure whose sole purpose is to enhance the speakers performance. If it's a painted metal surface, sand off a spot to the bare metal to make a good ground connection. This is much easier because all you have to do is multiply the driver's Vas by the number of drivers you intend to use, and then use this new value of Vas in the box calculations. Consult the manufacturer or the local dealer that you got the car from to find out about this.

Mounting the Amplifier

Now that all of the harder work is done, we are on to the easier part. Mounting isnt much, but I have offered some tips that may help.

1. First of all you will want to choose where you want to mount the amplifier. Choose an area that has plenty of ventilation to prevent the amplifier from overheating. Some places you may like are the trunk, on the back of the rear seat, under the front seats or attached to the subwoofer box.

2. Before drilling any holes, carefully check the area underneath the vehicle where the amplifier will be mounted to make sure it will not interfere with wires, brake lines, fuel lines, the fuel tank or any other objects that could be damaged.

3. Using the shortest screws possible, mount the amplifier how the manual from the manufacturer tells you to.

Tip 1: To avoid drilling into your vehicle, place a board that is slightly larger than the amplifier underneath the carpet where you want to mount the amplifier. Then put the amplifier over the board and drill in the screws to mount it. The board will provide a sturdy foundation and prevent you from drilling unnecessary holes into your vehicle

Tip 2: In vehicles that dont have a trunk, mounting the amplifier to the back of the back seat is a good place to start. Check the seat movement and determine how the cables will connect to the amplifier before mounting it though.

Tip 3: If you decide to mount the amplifier under a seat, you have to check to make sure it has the proper height and depth between the floor and the seat.
