You would think that this section would be obvious. You can buy a subwoofer box and make your job a great deal easier and still many people would rather build their own. Does it makes you wonder why? You will wonder if these are just extreme mechanics that do this. You may wonder if these people are just handy men who love to do-it-yourself.

The fact is that although buying a subwoofer box is much easier, many people find that in doing so, they may not be getting exactly what they want. When you build your own box, it is cheaper in the long run than buying one outright.

Most people learn quickly that after buying a box, there is still much work that needs to be done in order to get it ready for your car. You still have to install your subs, and many people like to tweak their boxes a little anyway. For all that, why not make it yourself?
