3. Once the dash or trim pieces are removed, the radio should be easy to see. Typically there are brackets or flanges holding in it the dash. Remove the screws or bolts holding the brackets and flanges.
4. Carefully slide the radio out only far enough so you can reach the wiring on the back. Depending on the space that you have available, you may be able to connect the audio cables without having to unplug the harnesses and take out the radio. Most of the time, you will need to remove the radio from the dash in order to plug in the audio cables and route them behind the dash.
