Parallel wiring is connecting components to a source so that they share the same voltage. I've seen acrylic tubes, cardboard, steel, and even honeycomb aluminum used. If you want to supe up your ride to where the bass nearly lifts it off of the ground; you are going to have to add a box to your trunk that has sub woofers that can handle the bass that you want to play. It's free and definitely worth checking out. In some cases the grille is secured from the bottom by screws, or by plastic studs which can break with excessive force. Since it comes in sheet form, it's pretty easy to build a square or rectangular box for your car, but it is very hard to make it curvy enough to fit the shape of your interior; particularly if you have a hatchback.

We used to think that the boom box was a great adventure in sound. The next section is going to explain the different subwoofer boxes in detail so that you will know which ones you want. Connect the amplifier remote turn-on wire to the turn-on connection. If it's a painted metal surface, sand off a spot to the bare metal to make a good ground connection.
Now that all of the harder work is done, we are on to the easier part. Mounting isnt much, but I have offered some tips that may help.
1. First of all you will want to choose where you want to mount the amplifier. Choose an area that has plenty of ventilation to prevent the amplifier from overheating. Some places you may like are the trunk, on the back of the rear seat, under the front seats or attached to the subwoofer box.
2. Before drilling any holes, carefully check the area underneath the vehicle where the amplifier will be mounted to make sure it will not interfere with wires, brake lines, fuel lines, the fuel tank or any other objects that could be damaged.
3. Using the shortest screws possible, mount the amplifier how the manual from the manufacturer tells you to.
Tip 1: To avoid drilling into your vehicle, place a board that is slightly larger than the amplifier underneath the carpet where you want to mount the amplifier. Then put the amplifier over the board and drill in the screws to mount it. The board will provide a sturdy foundation and prevent you from drilling unnecessary holes into your vehicle
Tip 2: In vehicles that dont have a trunk, mounting the amplifier to the back of the back seat is a good place to start. Check the seat movement and determine how the cables will connect to the amplifier before mounting it though.
Tip 3: If you decide to mount the amplifier under a seat, you have to check to make sure it has the proper height and depth between the floor and the seat.
